Shikra London was inspired by my grandparents—their stories, their style, and their spirit. This brand is a love letter to where I come from and where I’m going.
Growing up, my grandfather gave each of us a nickname. He called my cousin Shikra- a bird that soars across Asia and Africa- and that name stuck with me. It came to symbolise freedom, fluidity, and the beauty of cultural connection.
At Shikra London, we carry that symbolism into every stitch. We reimagine traditional South Asian fabrics—like vegan silk sarees—and weave them into contemporary silhouettes, denim jackets, outerwear, and more. Each piece is a blend of East and West. A balance of legacy and vision.
